Beauty Ethiopian Evangelical Church

 

Beauty Ethiopian Evangelical Church was acknowledged as a congregation plant by the British Columbia Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches Board of Church Extension in 2001. Around then, Asfaw Bekele, who experienced childhood in a Meserete Kristos (Mennonite) gathering in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, started filling in as the assembly's minister.

The gathering was engaged with chapel augmentation work in Ethiopia and was investigating an Ethiopian church plant in Victoria, British Columbia. The assemblage joined the BC Conference of MB Churches in 2002. In that year the congregation had 60 individuals. By 2008 enrollment had developed to 85. In 2010 enrollment was 50 with a normal participation of 100. Administrations were in the Amharic language Grace Ethiopian
